ASU is home to world-class enterprises of discovery that prepare innovative, evidence-based healthcare providers, educators, leaders and researchers.
For example:
- The ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy (CABHP) maintains a team of professional facilitators, trainers, researchers and faculty affiliates conducting research, providing program development, and designing and conducting workforce development initiatives to improve policies and programs that affect people with substance use disorders or mental illness.
- In a move to help tackle Arizona's critical nursing shortage, ASU’s College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation expanded its nursing program to ASU's Polytechnic campus and to a joint nursing program at the Mayo Clinic campus, and increased the number of students at the West campus.
