Robert Spring - ASU RESEARCH REVIEW

School of Music professor Robert Spring’s clarinet skills are featured on a recent production of Eight/KAET-TV’s ASU Research Review. The program profiles the people responsible for spearheading the latest research and innovations happening inside ASU’s labs and classrooms.

Spring is known as the “Heifetz of the clarinet” for his double tonguing, circular breathing and extreme high range. He has spent the past two decades teaching and performing at ASU and around the world. Spring fills the stage with his amazing and flawless talents in both classical and contemporary music.

CHINa YOUTH SPACE ACADEMY - KNOW 99

High school students from China and Nogales, Ariz. teamed up to participate in ASU's first-ever China Youth Space Academy. The program gave the students the chance to explore Mars and learn about ASU's leading role in space exploration.

Skysong debut - Horizon | EIGHT/KAET

SkySong, Arizona State University’s high-tech business center, officially opens this week. Julia Rosen, ASU Associate Vice President of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SkySong, will tell us about the facility.
