VPR Finance

The VPR Finance office is an administrative unit within the Office of the Vice President for Research & Economic Affairs (OVPREA).

Duties and responsibilities include:

• VP level financial oversight for OVPREA state, local (non-sponsored) and Technology and Research Initiative Fund (TRIF) funding
• Financial planning and budgeting for operating units
• Human resource issues and activity
• Financial management of ASU’s Indirect Cost Recovery (a.k.a. F&A) revenues and expenditures
• Distribution of Investigator Incentive Awards (IIA)
• Distribution and tracking of OVPREA cost share and infrastructure commitments
• Distribution of royalty income
